I think it is going to be a depressing story. The setting where the story is taking place shows that Boori Ma is poor. The story also tells us indirectly that it is raining, which shows that the story is going to be a depressing one. Boori Ma also got separated with her family, which also supports the fact that the story is a sad one.

In England
2) What time period has each of these stories been set in?

The Bennet family is poor,
4) The story of To Kill A Mockingbird takes place in Maycomb, Alabama. This already gives us an impression as we roughly know that the Civil Right Movement happened around that region. Maycomb was also a town where the blacks and the whites were living together where there is high possibility that things can take place. Maycomb is a quiet town and this increases the chance that sparks will be produced between the white and the blacks.

I feel that your posts are not elaborated enough and this may be because you have not changed it after today's lesson. Please change the time period and the setting to the correct one so as to give a more elaborated inference on how the story would turn out to be. Thanks!
